The Ricoh Gen5 printhead, officially known as Ricoh MH5420, is a widely adopted industrial-grade inkjet printhead known for its exceptional reliability, high resolution, and flexible ink compatibility. With 1,280 nozzles arranged in 4 staggered rows and a native resolution of 600 dpi, the Gen5 delivers sharp images and smooth gradations using grayscale technology.

It supports variable drop sizes from 7 to 35 picoliters, making it suitable for both fine details and high-coverage areas. The Gen5 is compatible with UV, solvent, oil-based, and water-based inks, making it extremely versatile for a wide range of industrial printing applications including signage, textile, packaging, labels, and coding & marking.

Built with internal ink recirculation and stainless steel construction, it ensures stable jetting and long operational life even under high-duty production environments.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
